Quinton Jackson, who is coming off a loss to Ryan Bader in Japan, is currently vacationing in Pampanga, which is one of the provinces in the Philippines. During his stay in the country, Rampage has sent out a few interesting tweets. The former UFC champion, who has been known to get emotional about things, said that after his next fight, he plans on leaving the UFC, and fighting for other promotions:

Jackson went on to explain why he isn't happy with the UFC, tweeting "Why should I stay? I don't need them or anybody else negative dealing with my (career)... MMA, okay. UFC, not okay after".

Knowing how emotional Rampage can get at times, I expect that this will all just boil over once he speaks with the UFC brass and patches things up. Either way, even if he wants to push through with this a few months after, it won't be easy as there will be very limited options available for him outside of the UFC.

This with a side of this. Although he did say he would fight for 2 dollars worth of 7/11 chicken.

If he has enough money I'd like to see him retire. He really doesn't have anything left to prove. I think that alone eats away at a guys hunger to get better.

This will all blow over in a few weeks. This is exactly what happened before he fought Rashad Evans. I think he's just in a minor depression over his health and losing the fight. He wants to do other things and that's probably what's going to happen then he'll be back.

Cuz at one point he was an exciting fughter and funny as fuck, hard to come by.

Rampage is insanely emotional and just blurts things out when he prolly should think about it more, personally I agree that they should set him up with Shogun.....if he doesn't show up he will get decimated and it will propel Shogun back into the mix, otherwise we get a motivated Rampage which is always a good time, win/win.

Oh ya for those that didn't read the Fightersonly interview about his TRT last week, I guess after the Bader fight he went out and performed in a rap concert and he's been working on a record for sometime now.
