Where Do They Go From Here? - UFC 146

JDS - Great TDD even if Mir isnt the greatest wrestler in the world. Did just what he had to do in that fight and looked as good as always. I know many wont agree but I would really like to see JDS/Overeem for NYE and the UFC could just tell Reem he better get clean or else he is cut.
Mir - After he couldnt score that first takedown we pretty much knew how the fight would unfold. I would really love to see Mir/Werdum but that would only work if Fabricio somehow loses to Russow and since I am really hoping that doesnt happen I would set up Mir/Bigfoot.
Cain - Not really a suprise at all that Cain was able to dominate a big, slow, plodding Silva but that cut was downright nasty. Looked like a murder-scene out there. Cain should be happy the UFC wants him to succeed though because we all knew this was a gift fight for him. I am sure the UFC will push for a rematch with him at JDS but I think thats dumb and would love to see him face the winner of Werdum/Russow.
Bigfoot - Tough loss but after getting dominated by Cormier he had to know that was likely to happen. So he beat Fedor but lost to the black Fedor and the brown Fedor. I wouldnt mind seeing Bigfoot/Mir though.
Nelson - What a win by Big Country! You would think guys would train nothing but defense to the overhand right but apparently Herman watched zero tape before this fight. I would love to see Nelson take on the winner of Nog/Kongo though. I think either would make for a fun fight but especially Nog.
PeeWee - He has lost two straight but only has four losses in his 24-fight career so I think he will get another shot; especially since he didnt do Were-Herman this fight which Dana appreciated. Match him with Morecraft so he can get a win and kick Christian to the curb.
Miocic - Really solid win for Miocic and excited to see him continue to progress. I could see him being matched up with Mark Hunt coming off that win.
SDR - Was hoping that Shane would be able to pull off the win but coming into the big show after such a huge layoff it looked like his cardio was not up to par. He looked really good in round one but was tired by the second. Love to see him take on Barry though.
Struve - Good win for Struve. He was able to keep the fight close and take little damage. Not super impressive to finish Lavar by sub but he did exactly what he needed to do in super quick fashion. Love to see him take on Napao next.
Johnson - Dude has ZERO ground game. He is a fun fighter but there seems to a lot of those in the world (Beltran, Barry, etc). Based on him stepping in late I am sure he will get another good fight.
Elkins - This dude can take some knocks! Dude was blasted in the first and just hung in there and looked for chances to control. Even though it wasnt an exciting win he has had a really good record in the UFC and I could see him fighting Hettes next.
Brandao - Kind of sucks he has such crappy cardio because he was really looking great in the first round but he slowed down pretty quick. Hopefully he can work on that because he could be a great fighter if he can keep up that first round pace all fight long. Would like to see him fight Corassani next.
Varner - Wow what a win. If he hadnt gotten the stoppage I dont think he could have eaten those leg kicks for three rounds but it didnt end up mattering. Varner has always had really good boxing and I am glad he is back under the Zuffa banner. I think he should take on whomever doesnt get matched up with Sass. Either Castillo or Dunham.
Barboza - Really tough loss for a guy who really had nothing to win going in to this fight. With Varner being a late replacement I wonder if Edson didnt really have time to realize how good Varner's boxing was and to properly train for it. I would say set him up with Paul Taylor but the fight would surely be cancelled when Taylor pulled out due to injury itraining so I say set him up with Yves.
Dollaway - Not really an impressive win but he did what he had to do after getting rocked in the stand-up a couple times. Would like to see him take on Lawlor as it makes sense and its a fight that I think would be pretty competitive.
Miller - At least last fight he could blame his awful performance on his awful cardio but this time he showed he really does just suck. I just dont think he is at all focused on training and being a real fighter anymore. He should just go focus on making stupid tv shows that no one watches.
Hardy - Really glad Dan was able to get the win. Seems like a really good guy and always comes to fight so glad he will be sticking around. Hardy would surely accept a fight with Hughes and its one of the few fights left for Hughes that has some story and could create buzz so I really hope they try to put that together.
Ludwig - Not sure if he gets another shot or not but if he does hopefully they will line him up with someone like Stittgen
Sass - Three UFC fights and three first round submission finishes. Dude definitely deserves a bigger fight and I am thinking either Dunham or Castillo would provide a good test for him in his progression.
Volkmann - I couldnt really care less who Christmas fights but lets just say a facebook curtain-jerker against someone no-one knows like Tommy Hayden.
Teixeira - What a performance to start your UFC career! Been a long-ass time coming for Glover to make his UFC debut and I am really glad he did it in style. Lots of fights they could make for him coming out of this. Maybe a fight with the last man to beat Kingsbury in Bonnar? I wouldnt mind Bonnar or Pokrajac.
Kingsbury - Even though he just got completely schooled in there I expect he will get another fight given that at one time he was on a four-fight win streak in the UFC. Probably the loser of Penner/DeBlass or a newcomer for him.
Brown - Retirement?? Why? I really hope he reconsiders because Mike Brown has been one of my favorite FW's for a long time and even though he had a couple of tough losses he is still a world-class fighter and can beat most FW's. I would LOVE to see him take on Dennis Siver
Pineda - Brown was by far the toughest fighter Pineda has ever faced and although he lost, he had some great moments in the fight and I definitely think he has a future in the UFC. I would like to see him take on Yahya.
